I have, what I would call, an unusual recollection of a random occurrence of a portion of my childhood that has been popping into my head lately that I would like to share. Then I wonder, "Has it all been leading up to my meeting my soulmate?"
You tell me.
I was very, very young. Under five. My father was gone in the Vietnam War. My mother and I were staying in a town where my mom's family was abundant. She was surrounded by her support system.
My Journey, as a Crossdressers Wife, towards Self-Acceptance, Patience, and Love. The Struggle is Real.

DOES IT MATTER?
If it matters to me, does it matter to you? If we are married, should it matter to you? I am always asking that question to myself. What matters to him, always matters to me. I take interest in what's important to him. And I take into account how he may feel about what I wear in public.
So, I ask, if you are going out in public or allowing people who come to the house when she is present, should the way he is dressed concern me? For me, yes it does concern me and when I feel he is dressed too provocative, I say something to him. It disturbs me greatly when he pushes this envelope. His pat response to me is, "they already know how I am." Or, "They've already seen me in this outfit." I cannot make my point more clear how important it is to honor and respect your wife. That does matter!
How Am I Supposed To Do This?
How am I supposed to do this? How is a wife supposed to feel? Her man tells her, I'm gonna be dressing and taking video and pictures tonight, with or without you. She decides to dress tonight, asks me if I will join then, right away, turns her back before I even have a chance to answer. She gets dressed, changes attitude and here we go, it's on.
First, she positions herself across from me with her back to me, making sure she has a mirror to look into. OK, fine. Narcissit.

SHOES
Labels:
FOOTWEAR

I love shoes. Before I retired, I had a shoe for every occassion, color-coded to corresponding outfits which matched every scarf that enhanced the focal point to be. Always on the lookout to maximize my fashion potential to my audience. Whether it be the grocery store or the office, I was dressed to the nines.
Angel, on the other hand, would get my hand me downs. How must that feel to always have the seconds. To top it off, they where too small or too large and didn't necessarily reflect her style and taste, it reflected mine.
As we embark on this journey, I am finding out that she wants to own, MINIMUM, the SAME amount of SHOES I used to have. Problem being, money and space. My footwear has been banished to a storage box large enough for about 8 pairs. I have relinquished my space and, yes, I conceded here. She has never had the space to explore and grow her own personality. Since the tables are a wee bit turned right now, I can see how she must have felt when her shoes were in a closet, hidden from the sunlight.
I've always been on the lookout for affordable things for my crossdresser and myself so we could both enjoy ourselves without breaking the bank. I have always felt so guilty when I would get mysef a sexy pair of shoes and she didn't so now, w each get a pair when we are able to buy and they are affordable!
So, I like the zebra, she likes the black and white ones. Which ones do you like?
